Georgia Educators for Equity and Justice, Dobbs Foundation GranteeNow Accepting Letters of Inquiry for Fall 2025 Grantmaking Cycle

The Foundation supports mission-driven organizations working to strengthen families, communities, and the environment across Georgia by making equitable investments in educational access, health outcomes, and environmental sustainability, especially in Georgia’s most underserved markets and communities.

Health: We will invest in efforts that promote resiliency and mental well-being among Georgia’s youth. Our goal is to reduce stigma and trauma, strengthen prevention and early intervention strategies, and expand access to needed mental health care and supports. We will prioritize initiatives that strengthen relevant systems and policies, provide care in schools and communities, and grow and sustain the mental health workforce.

Education: We will invest in innovative and scalable solutions that improve educational outcomes by advancing student well-being, real-world readiness, and environmental knowledge. We will prioritize efforts that demonstrate measurable impact on student populations that have faced historical disparities and that show potential for scale and replication across schools, regions, and systems.

Environment: We will invest in strong leadership and collaborative efforts that promote a culture of conservation and responsible stewardship of Georgia’s natural resources. With a commitment to equity, we will support approaches that ensure all communities have a voice in and benefit from protecting vital areas such as the Georgia coast, North Georgia landscapes, and longleaf pine forests. We will prioritize work that fosters sustainable solutions to environmental challenges through partnerships and systems-level change.

We’re especially interested in efforts that:

  • Are grounded in community informed design
  • Include strong, collaborative partnerships
  • Are guided by experienced and trusted leadership
  • Take into account relevant policy context and opportunities for leverage
  • Build meaningful relationships with key stakeholders
  • Address clear gaps, needs, and emerging threats
  • Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and adaptation
  • Are informed by data and evidence
  • Align with and strengthen the broader funding ecosystem
